After a week or two Doogie and Daisy started getting along.

Pacifica Apartment
She brought her home and we made a home for her. Giving her a small crate for her puppy size.
My Mom visited and brought Daisy a bunch of nice gifts, which we quickly realized were very helpful. We made sure she had a nice pad with supports in each room of the apartment since she always like to stay close to us, especially Nicole.
As a puppy, Daisy chewed up a lot of our items. I had a couple of nice dress shoes she chewed up.
Shortly after we got Daisy, Nicole and I took her on our first trip together on a skiing trip. Here I spent the day skiing with my friend Anup, while Nicole spent the day with Lisa and Daisy. Daisy got her first chance to play in the snow and visit a new apartment.
When Daisy first came to the apartment, she had to get used to living with two other cats. Minki and Manko. Nicole and I had purchased them less then a year prior and they were already used to the apartment. Daisy is very sweet with everyone she meets and they got along quit quickly.
Once Nicole had Daisy she realized she needed to take her to obedience class. She found a local obedience class that was hidden away in San Bruno.
Then Manko ran out of the apartment and we never saw him again. He was a very scared cat and going outside was probably very traumatically for him. He probably kept running and hopefully someone nice found him and gave him lots of love.
Introduction
After Nicole's grandmother passed away she was very emotional. After giving this some thought she decided to get a dog to help her with the pain of losing someone so close to her. Her and I went through some research on which type of dog would be best for us. Since we were living in a small apartment we wanted to get a small dog that could handle being in such a small environment. Also we wanted to get a dog that wouldn't bark as much as we had seen other small dogs do.
Nicole did some research and found a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel tri-color dog breeder in Benicia, California. She went and checked the dogs and found just one dog left from the litter. The breeder said she was smaller then the other dogs and when Nicole saw her she immediately fell in love. Nicole named her Daisy after the Daisy flower.
